Containers for Change – Wellard Village Primary School

Make an Impact, One Container at a Time!

Welcome to Wellard Village P&C’s Containers for Change initiative! Join us in a simple yet impactful way to support our community and the environment.

We have collaborated with Bridging the Gap  – Port Kennedy who has been helping us with picking and dropping the bins. We also have received fundraising resources from “Containers for Change” directly.

Why Participate?

  • Environmental Win: Recycling your containers contributes to a cleaner, greener planet. It’s a small action with a big impact!
  • Easy Fundraising: Every container you recycle directly supports Wellard Village P&C. It’s a hassle-free way to make a difference.
  • Community Unity: Containers for Change brings us together. Join your neighbors in a shared effort for a better community and planet.

How Funds Are Used:

  • School Programs: Enhancing education with better resources and programs.
  • Community Events: Supporting inclusive events that bring our community closer.
  • Infrastructure Upgrades: Improving facilities for a better learning environment.

How You Can Contribute

  1. Collect and Recycle: Start collecting eligible containers and drop them off at our designated Containers for Change collection point. We should be having two bins soon.
  2. Spread the Word: Encourage friends, family, and neighbors to participate in Containers for Change. Share the impact of recycling and how it directly benefits Wellard Village school.
  3. Volunteer: Consider volunteering your time to help organize collection drives or assist in promoting Containers for Change within the community.
